Strictly fans were excited for the show to air tonight, especially after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the devastating news that the country will be going into national lockdown on Thursday. "I really need this tonight," wrote one Twitter user.
But their excitement soon turned to disappointment after host Tess Daly revealed there would not be the usual Halloween theme this year.
