A pensioner on a mobility scooter was left 'terrified' after a stranger armed with a saw violently attacked him in the street.
The 65-year-old victim, who has hip problems and only one arm in working order, was on his way to meet a friend when he first scooted past Jane Rogers.
The attacker was with two men and had a saw in her hand when she repeatedly bit the victim on the ear and pulled his hair, StokeOnTrentLive reports.
The victim said he was left fearing for his life during the incident in Hanley, Staffordshire on July 25. Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the mobility scooter user did not know the attacker and was left with cuts to his ear and forehead.
