Steve Bruce is said to be 'very keen' on filling the interim manager role at Manchester United because of a key dressing room belief.United announced their intention to employ someone for the vacant position on a temporary basis until the end of the season after sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.That person is unlikely to be one of the world's top coaches, but instead a manager who is currently without a job and has an experienced head on their shoulders.And former Red Devils captain Bruce, 60, wants to throw his hat in the ring because he feels he can help stabilise the dressing room, as per The Athletic.Having made 309 appearances for the club from 1987-96, Bruce is another candidate, like Solskjaer was, who knows the club and their demands.
