Manchester City are sweating on Raheem Sterling's fitness before the Carabao Cup showdown at West Ham. Having found regular game-time hard to come by this season, Sterling is a strong contender to start should Pep Guardiola shuffle his star-studded team for the trip to the London Stadium on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
Of course, that depends on him recovering from a back issue which kept him side-lined on Saturday afternoon. In his absence, two players that stand in Sterling's way of a place in the line-up - Phil Foden and £100million man Jack Grealish - were shining lights during the routine 4-1 victory over Brighton.
