England manager Gareth Southgate has revealed the potential cause of Jack Grealish's injury he sustained on international duty that forced him to withdraw ahead of the San Marino clash.
Despite featuring in training yesterday, the 26-year-old pulled out of the squad and won't travel for the final World Cup qualifier with the Three Lions needing a point to secure qualification.
Grealish replaced Phil Foden shortly after the hour mark in Friday's rout against Albania as they moved to within touching distance of next November's tournament in Qatar, but the City -man made little impact with the points already sealed after a five-goal first-half flurry.
