A rescue operation was launched after the two dinghies were spotted drifting out into the water at around 7.10pm last night (Monday), LancsLive reports.
Lytham coastguard attended and found that it was two inflatable rings with one person on each. RNLI Blackpool arrived at the scene shortly after and rescued them to the shore of the popular resort.
