Jamie Carragher has argued Cristiano Ronaldo will not turn Manchester United into title challengers, as he alone will not fix their issues stemming from a lack of a distinctive playing style.
The Portuguese forward has already found the net on three occasions in two games since making the switch from Turin to Manchester, where he made his name as a youngster.
Now, at 36-years-old, Ronaldo returns to Old Trafford as one of the greatest football players in history. Ronaldo will guarantee goals in his second term at United, but an ability to find the back of the net has not been United's most prominent issue over Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's tenure.
