Partick Thistle 's legal battle against the SPFL continues on Wednesday. The two clubs have taken their case to Edinburgh's Court of Session in a bid to overturn the decision to relegate them.Both teams were condemned to the drop in April and subsequent attempts at league reconstruction have failed.
On Wednesday, Gerry Moynihan QC, acting on behalf of the SPFL, told the clubs they face being banished from the game. The three promoted clubs - Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers - are opposing Hearts and Thistle on the grounds they'd be denied lawful promotion, insisting the matter must be dealt with the SFA.
