Spain confirms date Brits can come back – as German tourists descend on Majorca

Spain ahead of Brits who have been given the green light to return from June 21. Spain is set to reopen its borders to most European visitors from June 21, 10 days earlier than previously planned, a Spanish Foreign Ministry said on Sunday. "The Spanish government has confirmed to us that the UK is included within the group of countries to whom these border relaxations will apply," said the UK embassy in Spain via its Twitter account.

Meanwhile, the first German holidaymakers taking part in a Spanish pilot tourism scheme have arrived in Majorca.Nearly 200 sun-seekers touched down just before 11am on a flight from Dusseldorf on Monday morning and had their temperatures taken before being allowed through passport control.More than 10,000.
