‘Sleep tight princess’ Tributes paid to Scots schoolgirl killed in horror M8 crash

Dozens of heartfelt tributes have been paid to a ‘beautiful’ Fife schoolgirl who died after a horror crash on the M8. Hana Mabrouk, 14, lost her fight for life on Sunday after being seriously injured in a two car crash near Whitburn, West Lothian, on October 17.

She was rushed to hospital alongside a six-year-old boy - who remains in a critical condition - and two adults after their Ford Focus collided with a Volkswagen Golf.

The roadway was closed for approximately five hours for collision investigations to take place and police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the crash.A heartbroken family friend broke the news of Hana’s passing on social media and invited all who knew her to attend her funeral on Wednesday.She wrote:
