Jamie Redknapp and Patrice Evra ditched their Black Lives Matter badges on Sky Sports after the movement made controversial political statements.
The rejection came as the Premier League also started to distance itself from some of the BLM group’s statements about Israel and defunding of the police.
Premier League players are also said to be considering whether to follow suit. Former footballer Evra, Redknapp, host Kelly Cates and commentator Gary Neville were not wearing the badges during the TV coverage of Brighton’s game against Manchester United.
