Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Harry Maguire has named David de Gea and Marcus Rashford in his fantasy six-a-side team. The current Manchester United captain and club legend Bryan Robson were tasked with naming their choice of six former Red Devils skippers that would best compliment each other on the pitch.
Maguire, who was handed the honour in his first season at the club by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, picked both Rashford and De Gea - who have both worn the armband at some point in their spells at Old Trafford.
Robson chose a more retro look or his side - and but there was no room for Maguire. Harry’s picks during the ‘Captains’ episode of the UTD Podcast were De Gea, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Robson, Scholes and Rashford.
