Some of Manchester's most luxurious hotel rooms - ones that would normally cost hundreds of pounds per night - are currently being forced to turn away paying guests.
But that doesn't mean they're sitting empty. On the contrary. Some of the city's most premium hotel accommodation is now being offered up, free of charge, to NHS staff and other key workers.
Hotels including Gary Neville's Stock Exchange Hotel and the Hilton at Manchester Airport are providing a safe haven for those front-line workers who have either arrived in Manchester to help the fight against Covid-19, or who are living away from their loved ones to protect those at risk.
