Bristol Rovers have reportedly launched an investigation into a voice recording leak from a private meeting regarding the return of the football season.
BristolLive report that senior players and management are “furious” after a recording was leaked to fans and players. It’s claimed that the record is of Bristol Rovers’ PFA representative Alex Rodman outlining the main points from a recent meeting between the EFL, owners, fellow professionals and Gary Neville, who has been acting as a bridge between the PFA and league bosses.
The recording was reportedly placed in the players’ WhatsApp group to keep the squad in the loop in terms of developments but has now circulated around other League clubs.
