Patrice Evra has revealed Sir Alex Ferguson apologised to two Man Utd players after announcing his decision to retire in the club dressing room.
Fergie stepped down from his role at Old Trafford in 2013 after 27 trophy-laden years at the helm. But despite rumours circulating that he was set to leave his post, the decision still came as a shock to United's players, none least than Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa.
