Mohammed Malik lost control as he accused the victim, who had given birth just a month ago, of talking to other men before brutally attacking her.
The 24-year-old was arrested after a five-hour manhunt for his "controlling and abusive" behaviour. Malik parked up outside Mothercare in Cheetham Hill before accusing the woman of speaking to other men, after this an argument started and the woman tried to get out of the car.
The horrifying incident escalated as he shoved her into the footwell and bit her leg, leaving a 'prominent mark', Manchester Crown Court heard.
