dailystar.co.ukSheridan Smith has landed her “dream job” on a dog grooming show. The actress and singer, 38, will host a new prime time BBC One series called Pooch Perfect.
Sheridan is a huge pet lover who owns six dogs. Last night she said: “To combine my love of dogs with a new job presenting for the BBC was a match made in heaven. “Everyone who knows me will understand that animals, and especially dogs, are very special to me.” She added: “I live at home with six dogs, so presenting a show dedicated to our four-legged best friends didn’t take much consideration.
For me it is literally the dream job.” Pooch Perfect will feature 10 pairs of pro dog stylists competing in challenges to transform their pets from “scruffy to fluffy and ruff to regal”.
