A dog has been rescued after wandering on frozen sea for two months waiting for its owner's ship to return. The black-furred animal was spotted walking around the frozen Nagaev Bay on the Sea of Okhotsk in the far-eastern Russian region of Magadan Oblast.
Local residents said the dog arrived the city along with crew members on board a ship. It's unclear whether the dog was left behind by accident or crew members could not find it when the vessel departed.
Footage emerged showing the kindhearted locals driving a snowmobile out to the frozen sea and throwing food to keep the hungry pooch alive.
