A blind border collie puppy named Paddy has his own guide dog in the shape of best friend Sheeva the bulldog. The inseparable pair struck up a cute friendship after six-month-old Paddy arrived at the RSPCA centre where two-year-old Sheeva has been since December.
Paddy lost his sight to infection but gentle giant Sheeva has taken him under her wing and now the paw-fect pals are looking for homes.
Lauren Moore, from RSPCA’s Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford and District branch, said: “Although the infection has left him completely blind, thankfully it causes him no ongoing pain.
Navigating his way around when he’s off-lead can prove a little tricky but Sheeva has been fabulous with him and acts as a guide dog to him.
