A massive 6ft dog that acts like a laptop has transformed a man's life, helping him through his darkest days. Rowlf, a newfoundland and poodle cross, was just a foot tall when he came to live with his family but has now grown from a tiny bundle of fluff to towering over his owner in less than two years.
Yet despite his size the cheeky pooch constantly demands to sit on his owner's lap for cuddles. Father-of-two Craig Pankhurst, 41, had just suffered a life-changing stroke when the family took on puppy Rowlf in June 2018.
Despite starting out as the baby next to the family's two bulldogs, over the last 22 months Rowlf has ballooned from a tiny bundle of fluff into a huge 7.5 stone mountain of fur.
