Real Madrid this summer to join Manchester United in the Premier League. Talks between Ramos and Madrid over a new deal have reached a stalemate, which means the Spaniard will be free to leave in the summer.
Ramos has been a stalwart at the Bernabau since arriving from Sevilla in 2005, winning La Liga five times, the Champions League four times and the Copa del Rey twice.But with Madrid being hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, and undergoing a major upgrade of their stadium, it appears president Florentino Perez will allow Ramos to depart for free.Ramos is now free to begin talks with clubs outside of Spain and can sign a pre-contract agreement.
