Dele Alli looks set to stay at Tottenham until the summer. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy does not want to let Alli go to Paris Saint Germain even though it could cost him a place at the Euros this summer.
Alli has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho. But PSG want to sign him and that would give him valuable minutes to try and get an England recall.
However, Tottenham do not want to leave themselves short of options. As such, they have vetoed a move to the French capital.
One potential replacement would be Christian Eriksen returning from Inter Milan. But Eriksen started for Inter at the weekend, would be reluctant to subsidise his wages and that means any deal back to England seems highly unlikely.
