Security guard says Reading suspect looked like he'd put hands 'in bucket of red paint'

A security guard who saw the Reading terror suspect being rugby-tackled to the ground by police has described how it looked as if he had put his hands "in a big bucket of red paint".

The suspect Khairi Saadallah, 25, was arrested after the attack on Saturday evening that left three people dead and three others seriously injured.

Witness Sydney McDonald, 65, has described the scene at Forbury Gardens as the horror unfolded. He said police rugby tackled the suspect to the floor and "the blood on his hands looked like he had put his hand in a big bucket of red paint".
