Manchester United's Scott McTominay has been taking lessons from Cristiano Ronaldo on how to keep himself fit and focussed during lockdown.

The Scottish midfielder reckons the former United No. 7 is the master when it comes to steering well clear of his comfort zone.

Ronaldo, 35, prides himself on staying in top physical and mental condition – and McTominay has become a student of the Portuguese star on social media.

Talking on the official Manchester United podcast, McTominay said: “You look at Ronaldo and guys like this - and their mentality is at the top of the top. “You don’t get any better than that.
