Glasgow City Council has warned of ‘severe disruption’ after more road closures were announced ahead of COP26. From Monday, part of Dumbarton Road and Argyle Street will be closed to traffic and no vehicles will be permitted to park here.It was expected the road, which passes through Partick and Finnieston, would have been used as an alternative route by drivers following the closure of the Clydeside Expressway.The closure, which applies to the road from Byres Road to St Vincent Street, will come into effect from 10am on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.Finnieston Street from Argyle Street to Lancefield Quay will also be closed as will a number of other roads in the area that join Argyle Street.No parking will be permitted on the affected the
