An experienced Scots nurse with young children quit her job in a care home due to not having access to proper PPE and said 'my children need me alive'.

The mum had raised serious grievances about the lack of access to personal protective equipment and says concerns over coronavirus were not taken seriously.

Sarah (not her real name) handed in her notice with immediate effect after being told she would only be given gloves and an apron unless there was a confirmed case of Covid-19 at her workplace.The nurse is now unemployed, but desperately wants to help during the Covid-19 crisis.
