Shoppers in Glasgow have been been left un hysterics by what’s been dubbed “the saddest Christmas tree ever”The somewhat bedraggled-looking evergreen was erected in Springburn, an inner-city district in the north of the city.As yet it doesn’t have any lights or decorations but is protected by a forbidding-looking crash barrier..Residents in Springburn have been having a good laugh at the expense of the small tree which was spotted outside a closed-down corner shop on Springburn Way at the weekend.As the festive season closes in, a spectacular array of Christmas lights and decorations have been erected up and down the country.However one resident in Springburn.
