COMEDIAN Russell Brand has been left devastated as he shared the sad news that a beloved 'family member' had died. The 47-year-old took to Instagram today to inform fans that his dog Carly had passed away.
As he paid tribute to his four-legged canine family member, Russell described her as a "lovely dog" that was "full of spirit and joy".
He also revealed himself and wife Laura Brand, 35, had adopted Carly from a mate after her original owner had died. "Today our dog Carly died," he posted online. "We inherited her from her first owners (who had died) via a mate." He continued: "She was a lovely dog, all full of spirit and joy and bounce (and farts and night-barking) me and Laura will miss her but carry the love we felt amidst this passing pain.
