RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Crystal has filed a defamation lawsuit against Laurence Fox after the actor allegedly called her a "paedophile" in a Twitter spat.
Crystal, who starred on the first series of the BBC talent show, is one of three claimants suing the aspiring politician for defamation, alongside Coronation Street star Nicola Thorp and Simon Blake, Deputy Chair of LGBT organisation Stonewall.
The former actor, who is running for Mayor of London, allegedly called all three "paedophiles" in separate tweets. The legal action stems from a Twitter row in October 2020 after Fox, 42, went on a rant about Sainsbury's, accusing the supermarket chain of "promoting racial segregation and discrimination" by supporting Black History Month.
