Micah Richards joked on Sky Sports that Manchester United should appoint Roy Keane as temporary manager. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reign as United boss came to an end on Sunday morning.
The decision was made after Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Watford and, the following day, Solskjaer was relieved of his duties after three years in charge.
Michael Carrick has been appointed to a caretaker role as the club look for an interim manager to guide the club until the end of the season.
A permanent appointment is expected to be made in the summer. Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher, Robbie Keane and Richards discussed who could lead step in and Richards brought up former United captain Keane. "Give it Keane till the end of the season," laughed
