Former Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand has clashed with former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher about their playing careers, amid United's ongoing difficulties when it comes to challenging for Premier League titles.
Carragher clashed with former United captain Roy Keane on Sunday on Sky Sports, with the pair of them getting into a heated row about Cristiano Ronaldo and his return to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
The argument extended from Keane disagreeing with caretaker manager Michael Carrick's decision to drop the Portuguese to the bench for the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Carragher, opposing Keane's views, felt Carrick had done nothing wrong leave the former Real Madrid man amongst the substitutes.
