Manchester United over their decision to appoint Ralf Rangnick as interim manager.The Red Devils officially unveiled the German on Monday on a short-term deal which will see the 63-year-old take charge at Old Trafford until the end of the season before stepping into a consultancy role at the club.
The confirmation comes amid much speculation over who would succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following his recent sacking in the aftermath of a wretched run of results.
First-team coach Michael Carrick had been overseeing the team on a temporary basis prior to Rangnick's appointment with United still seeking to appoint a long-term successor.
