The 63-year-old telly legend unveiled the home-hairdressing as The Sun revealed that salons could stay shut for six more months.
Relaxed Richard looked like he was heading to the beach as he went out in a powder-blue T-shirt, Bermuda shorts and sandals yesterday.
To complete the look, he had a pair of sunglasses hooked into his top and was clutching the sort of red cup beloved of American teenagers on Spring Break.
