Sporting a relaxed and somewhat summery look, Richard wore a simple grey T-shirt with a pair of what looks like swimming trunks as he kept it casual - probably not to upstage his new hair-do.
The telly star was seen dropping off a letter at a postbox while clutching a red solo cup. His outing comes as news of his and wife Judy show's return to Channel 4 after 12 years has been announced.
