Revellers have packed out pubs before they close this evening ahead of England's second national lockdown. Brits flocked to their local to enjoy their last night out for four weeks as pubs and restaurants close at 10pm tonight.
From midnight, people will once again be told to stay at home in an effort to reduce to reduce the spread of coronavirus. Pubs and bars in London were packed to the rafters as many enjoy their last pint for a while.
There were large crowds in Soho, which closed roads to traffic to allow outdoor dining and eating for punters, with police out patrolling the streets, ensuring people stick to social distancing rules and do not gather in more than groups of six.
