The remains of a missing toddler have been found in dam, police say. Three-year-old Kaydence Mills vanished in 2016. Her mother Sinitta Dawita, 28, and her fiancé Tane Desatge, 40, have both been charged with murder as well as interfering with a corpse and torture.

Police began investigating Kaydence disappearance in Brisbane, Australia, last November, but little was know about what happened.

Now police have confirmed remains found in a weir around 300km west of Brisbane are that of Kaydence. While last seen in 2016, police were only alerted to the case last year after members of her family expressed  concern to a guidance counsellor at the local school in Chinchilla.
