Spanish giants Real Madrid are plotting an ambitious move for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, in a bid to take him back to the Bernabeu.
That is according to a report by Football Insider who claim that the Spanish heavyweights believe the arrival of Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford could spell the end of Ronaldo's time at United.
Ronaldo only returned to Old Trafford at the very end of the summer transfer window and, despite the Reds' recent struggles, has excelled, scoring 13 goals, including six in the UEFA Champions League.
Some pundits have suggested that Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford has been the route of United's problems this season, but his statistics and performances suggest otherwise.
