Tyler Adams' deflected effort fired RB Leipzig past Atletico Madrid into the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in the club's history.
Leipzig took the lead in the second half thanks to Dani Olmo's header before Joao Felix came off the bench to win and convert a penalty with under 20 minutes remaining.
But super-sub Adams scored his first Leipzig goal to send the club through, seeing his drilled shot deflected off Stefan Savic and over a helpless Jan Oblak.
The result means the Bundesliga club will face French champions Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final this week, while Atletico boss Diego Simeone's Champions League hopes have once again been quashed.
