Manchester United are still looking to add more firepower to their squad. The Red Devils tried, and failed, to acquire the services of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in the summer, having multiple bids for the England winger turned down.United were also on the lookout for a new striker, which came in the form of Uruguay international Edinson Cavani.The acquisition of the veteran forward was a far cry from the major coup they tried to pull off in January.United, of course, were in the market to sign RB Salzburg hitman Erling Haaland, whose signature they were pipped to by Dortmund.It's understood the Premier League big boys are still eager to acquire Haaland's services, with Solskjaer reportedly still maintaining a good relationship.
