Rats "the size of rabbits" have overrun homes in a Merseyside town, as shown in a shocking video. People living in Sefton Road, Litherland, complain that the problem is ongoing and the "brazen" creatures appear to be getting bigger.In a video, recorded by a resident, a large brown rat is caught in a cage.The restless animal scampers around inside and, judging by its size in comparison to the man holding the cage, is around twice the size of a normal rat. "This fella just rolled into our house," he told Liverpool ECHO. "We've caught about five during lockdown but this was by far the biggest."Thought it was a rabbit at first."The man, who lives in Sefton Road, said: "It's just non-stop."They were always coming into our garden so we blocked.
