The footage shows four rats running across the pavement on Ardbeg Street in the Govanhill area of the city.The rodents appear from underneath a parked car and then disappear under a hedge in the clip shared on Thursday October 7.The person who recorded and shared the video, which has been viewed over 20,000 times since, wishes to remain anonymous.
However, they told Glasgow Live : "I suppose after the sighting of rats become such a regular everyday occurrence it isn't a shock anymore. "What I do find shocking and completely unacceptable is this council's complete lack of willingness to clean up the streets
