Rangers and Celtic is moving towards being switched to Sunday to avoid clashing with Prince Philip's funeral. The fourth-round tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday, April 17 at 4pm but the death of the Duke of Edinburgh has thrown that into doubt.The Royal Family announced on Saturday that the funeral will be held at 3pm on Saturday, meaning it will clash with the Old Firm game.
That prompted the SFA to open talks with stakeholders and understands the preferred option is for Rangers and Celtic to square off on Sunday and possibly at 12pm Noon.
A source close to the talks confirmed that pushing the fixture back a day is currently the preferred option but the situation remains fluid.
