Dunfermline lasted just 12 minutes before a power failure brought the Championship clash to an abrupt halt. Starks Park was bouncing as the rivals got ready for their first derby with fans in attendance since the pandemic began, a game selected for live television coverage.There was a delay to kick-off due to a floodlight problem but referee Gavin Duncan was eventually given the green light to start the match when the lights came on.
And for 12 minutes it appeared all was going well with Raith and Dunfermline fans in fine voice. But the referee was soon called over to consult with the match commander who informed him there was no electricity in either stand which housed supporters.
