Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American filmmaker, actor, film programmer, and cinema owner.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.
There’s no denying the fact that Quentin Tarantino has used how words and images to elicit a reaction out of people during his films.
Whether it’s the harsh language or the graphic violence, his films have enough material in them to perhaps ruffle a few feathers, if the viewer isn’t prepared.
But even still, the filmmaker doesn’t believe that anyone should ever be offended by films. In fact, he thinks that if you are offended, that’s a you problem and not the fault of the film.
