Prince William has reacted to Aston Villa’s nerve-wracking Premier League survival. The Villa-supporting Duke – who has previously been snapped cheering the team on in the stands along with his wife the Duchess of Cambridge – responded to a video of the squad singing Neil Diamond classic ‘Sweet Caroline’ in the dressing room after their 1-1 draw against West Ham.

A point at the London Stadium proved enough for the Villains to save their top-flight status after relegation rivals Watford failed to get anything from their game against Arsenal, completing a turnaround for Dean Smith’s side, who looked down and out when the season was suspended.
