Prince William has explained how he chose to support Aston Villa out of fear of being a glory hunter. The Duke of Cambridge and president of the FA has been a fan of the midlands club since his youth.

Speaking on with the former Villa striker, William revealed how he was desperate not to follow his classmates in rooting for Man Utd or Arsenal.
And he claims his mind was made up aged 11 when he went to watch Villa in action against Bolton in the FA Cup. "I sat there among all the Villa fans and I loved it.
