Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry hires ex-police protection officer to keep him safe during Europe tour

Prince Harry's former royal protection officer has been hired by the Duke of Sussex to keep him and his wife Meghan Markle safe during their European tour.The couple are believed to be shelling out "thousands of pounds a day" for the services of two ex-Met Police officers, including a bodyguard honoured by the Queen, reports The Mirror.READ MORE: Politician makes epic Twitter blunder as they congratulate wrong Liz TrussDavid Langdown has worked with the Duke for more than a decade, having been entrusted with looking after him during the trip to Las Vegas in 2012 when the prince was photographed playing naked billiards with a stripper.

After retiring from the Met Police last year, Mr Langdown is now working for a private security firm and also accompanied Meghan when she travelled to New York for her baby shower that was paid for by her friend tennis legend Serena Williams and Amal Clooney.

Mr Langdown, who splits his time between Harry’s bases in the United States and the UK, is now understood to be working as director of American security firm Broadstone Risks, run by former Met officer Peter Miles.A security source told The Mirror: "Langers is the best of the best and his relationship with Harry goes back donkey’s years, but he certainly doesn't come cheap and certainly the bill will be thousands of pounds a day. "He is very trusted by Harry so it is no surprise he is back by his side to take care of him and Meghan."Harry is currently locked in a bitter legal battle with the Home Office at the High Court over the decision to take away his taxpayer-funded police protection after he quit the Royal Family in 2020.The Duke also revealed in court how he requested to pay privately for specialist Met Police protection when in.
