Top Premier League stars have come up with a three point plan aimed at solving the wage row with bosses that has left English football in meltdown.
Premier League and club executives have been at loggerheads with players over proposals to impose a 30 per cent wage cut on them to help fund the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
With no agreement across the board being even close - talks have now continued between individual club executives and chairmen, captains and senior stars in a bid to reach a compromise.
It is understood all 20 captains held video conferences with senior club bosses in a bid to thrash out an agreement that suits all parties.
