Piers Morgan was quick to mock Liverpool after they lost 2-1 to Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday night. The GMB presenter is a lifelong Gunners fan and is very vocal on Twitter about their ups and downs.
But after they came from behind to down the champions in north London he didn't shy away in trolling the Reds. "Thanks for coming, Champs @LFC," he tweeted.
Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson gave Arsenal the three points after they'd initially fallen behind to a Sadio Mane goal.
It was the perfect response from Mikel Arteta's side after they'd lost to rivals Tottenham on Sunday. The result also means Liverpool can no longer match Manchester City's 100 points tally that they set two years ago.
