Premier League and Championship sides could sign a transfer “truce” that would prevent them taking players from each other while wages are being cut amid the coronavirus pandemic.
All English and European football is on hold indefinitely because of the virus, which has affected close to 2million people worldwide.
And a number of clubs have taken the decision to either defer or cut player wages while the crisis continues to cripple their income.
According to the Daily Mail, England’s top two divisions fear the wage cuts situation could result in a transfer war when the summer window opens.
